Illinois Central PR/Shippers Packet. This lot Include 9 items total, with is a mix of IC & ICG PR or Shipper PR items:
1) Nice 8×10 photo of the “new look” IC logo on 2 diesels pulling a pig train with a great shot of the Chicago skyline in the background
2) For shippers an 8.5 x 11 4 page brochure on the IC’s Intermodal Services
3) A larger multi-page booklet announcing the IC’s “new look”. Pictures, times, etc. (Interestingly the same two diesels in #1 are on this cover)
4) A reprint of the original land-grant land sale to benefit the IC. $8 to $12 an acre!
5) Typewritten (this is likely a mimeograph) of the Casey Jones (IC) story. Probably a PR handout.
6) Glossy, but B&W, handout of the “evolution” of the IC logo from 1851 through 1966.
